Our Annual Away Trip, takes place the weekend of 11-13th of October, this year we are revisiting an old favourite… Wicklow and Glendalough.
Briefly our B’s will take on a 5/5.5 hour hike, climbing Lugnaquilla, standing at 925 m Lugnaquilla or “Lug” as it’s better known, is the highest mountain in Ireland outside of Kerry.
C Group will follow paths and mountain trails for a more lesiurely 12+km trek, lasting 4/4.5 hour, from Glendalough to Glenmalure. Both Groups will meet up as always in a local pub for a well deserved pint and a bit of craic!
Cost is 200 Euros, which includes: bus to and from Wicklow, (and to and from walk starting/ending points), 2 nights B+B, 2 evening meals in the Glendalough Hotel, and a packed lunch for the walk. Places are filled on a “first come, first served basis” and only payment in full secures a place.
We will be taking payment (in full), this Sunday, 1st of September, so if you don’t want to miss out, make sure to be at the Gap, either before or on our return from Sunday’s walk to book your place!
