CURRENT COVID-19 UPDATE FOR WALKERS
Enjoy The Lovely Weather🦋
We have no scheduled walks. But as you enjoy the outdoors this weekend, please be mindful that car parks and outdoor recreational spaces will be busy. If possible, walk or cycle to your starting point. Check if a car park is open before travelling. If on arrival you find the car park is full or closed, have an alternative plan. Park in a way that will not obstruct the emergency services (who may need to use forest entrances), local residents accessing their homes, or local farmers who need to enter fields or farmyards. Stay safe, be kind and respectful to each other and enjoy the outdoors responsibly.
The 5km rule applies to ROI.
Ring of Gullion on our Beautiful Bluebells
Check out the great post from Ring of Gullion on our beautiful Bluebells, click on the link on the Spanish Bluebell you might spot these in gardens, very pretty.
Also the common Foxglove, we see these on many of our walks in June. I use to enjoy popping the closed flowers but on reading, the plant is toxic if ingested 🤢, so be careful with young children or animals dont eat these.
